Mountain West Propane, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business located near Roosevelt, UT. It was started in 1982 by Steven (Beaver) Duncan, who owned and operated Mountain West Propane as a sole proprietor until January 1, 2002. At that time, his sons and only employees, Shane and Kevin Duncan, purchased the business and have owned and operated it ever since. It’s a story of the Duncan family living the “American Dream”. The business was built on principles of trust, hard work and honesty. The Duncan family would like to thank you for your continued support.
Mountain West Propane, Inc recently acquired MFA Oil’s propane business (formerly Basin Propane Systems) on February 1, 2019. We have enjoyed serving the people of the Uintah Basin area and look forward to expanding our service area with the acquisition of MFA’s operations in Vernal, UT and Craig, CO.
Roosevelt, UT Office: Covers everything west of Lapoint & Ft Duchesne to Heber & Park City.
Vernal, UT Office: Covers Vernal and surrounding area to Jensen and Manila, as well as Dinosaur and Rangely in Colorado.
